Art exhibitions opening in Argentina

Several art exhibitions are opening in Argentina. In Buenos Aires, artist Catalina Chervin is presenting ‘La realidad está en los detalles’ at Oda Galería. Curated by María José Herrera, the exhibition features two decades of Chervin’s work, including drawings, engravings, and three-dimensional pieces. Her work explores themes of accumulation, transformation, and personal history, reflecting on her Jewish Russian heritage and her experiences during the military dictatorship in Argentina.

In Misiones, the Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes Juan Yaparí is hosting ‘Miradas del pasado…Un territorio… Retrospectiva’. This exhibition features a dialogue between the works of Juan Carlos Solís and his daughter, Cristina Solís. The showcase includes a retrospective of Juan Carlos Solís, a self-taught artist, dancer, and cultural figure, alongside the contemporary perspective of Cristina Solís. The exhibition was made possible through the efforts of Ana Solís to reunite her father’s dispersed works.
