Art exhibitions opening in Hamburg and Klagenfurt

Artist Caspar Nii Armah is concluding his exhibition ‘THE JOURNEY’ at ARTLOFT. Hamburg with a final event titled ‘ausARTen’ on August 27. The exhibition is characterized by a process of transformation; Armah previously painted a large wall surface live, then cut, tore, and burned parts of the work to create ash, which was then used as material for new pieces.

In Klagenfurt, Austria, the Galerie ART IST is hosting ‘AKTuelles’, an exhibition focused on the human body featuring artists Karl Nackler and Marlis Lepicnik. Nackler’s work includes large-scale chalk and pastel depictions on black backgrounds, while Lepicnik presents stylized works, including a large tapestry woven in Nepal. The exhibition opens on August 20 and will run until October 24, 2026.
