Art routes scheduled in Bunschoten-Spakenburg and Leiden

Various art routes are taking place across the Netherlands, featuring diverse creative disciplines. In Bunschoten-Spakenburg, the Kunstroute will feature over sixty artists across 23 locations on September 11 and 12. This year’s theme is ‘Body & Spirit,’ encompassing painting, photography, textiles, fashion, and visual arts. For the first time, children and adolescents can participate individually. The event includes a central exhibition at the town hall and coincides with Heritage Day.

In Leiden, the Kunstroute scheduled for September 26 and 27 will expand beyond visual arts to include music and cabaret. Performer Jan Stroomer plans to engage in a musical experiment by composing new songs on the spot, drawing inspiration from the art on display and interactions with the public.
