In Bunschoten-Spakenburg, the Kunstroute features over sixty artists across 23 locations with the theme ‘Body & Spirit’. The event includes painting, photography, textiles, fashion, and visual arts, and for the first time allows children and adolescents to participate individually. In Leiden, the scheduled Kunstroute is set to expand beyond visual arts to include music and cabaret, featuring musical experiments inspired by the displayed art.

Further regional activities include the 28th Kunstroute Aalsmeer, which features more than 100 artists across disciplines such as ceramics, jewelry, poetry, and dance. The Leiden event is also expanding to include 165 artist studios, galleries, and workshops, with new locations such as the former Volkshuis. Participants in Leiden can utilize a dedicated Kinderkunstroute for children or use digital filters to customize their visits based on accessibility or specific artistic disciplines.
