Mexico regional governments report on infrastructure and legislative updates

Various Mexican states and municipalities are reporting on legislative transitions and government progress. In Zacatecas, Governor David Monreal highlighted a five-year administration focused on security, noting a 96% decrease in homicides in 2026 and fiscal discipline through zero new debt.

In Jalisco, Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro announced over 730 million pesos in investments for Ocotlán, including 320 million pesos for road infrastructure. Meanwhile, in Tlajomulco, Mayor Gerardo Quirino Velázquez reported a 2 billion peso investment in urban equipment and infrastructure.
