ArtyA unveils Complexity Métiers d’Art with double inclined tourbillons

Independent watchmaker ArtyA has unveiled the Complexity Métiers d’Art, a new interpretation of its Complexity timepiece. The watch features a unique mechanical architecture centered around two inclined tourbillons positioned at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions, connected by a differential.

The timepiece is housed in a transparent case crafted from a solid block of synthetic sapphire, measuring 42mm in length, 48mm in width, and 13mm in thickness. The construction utilizes a triple-concave design and includes sapphire domes that magnify the tourbillons. Manufacturing the complex geometry required over 120 hours of diamond machining and more than 140 hours of polishing.

This edition emphasizes artisanal craftsmanship, featuring a sandblasted dial that has been entirely hand-engraved with radiating lines using a burin. The movement is the proprietary manual-winding calibre Complexity-01, developed in collaboration with Purtec Sarl. The watch is completed with a faceted crystal crown and an integrated rubber strap.
