Aruba Prime Minister Mike Eman urges common good in Kingdom relations
Aruban Prime Minister Mike Eman has concluded his final meeting with the Kingdom Relations Committee (KOREL) of the Dutch Senate. During the farewell session in The Hague, Eman emphasized that the ‘bon comun’—the common good—should occupy a more central role in the cooperation between the countries of the Dutch Kingdom, as well as in the economic and political models guiding society.
Eman, who is scheduled to end his term as Prime Minister on January 1, 2027, presented the committee with a gift featuring Aruba’s coat of arms integrated into a compass. He explained that the compass symbolizes the direction the Kingdom nations must take to work together for general wellbeing.
KOREL President Paul Rosenmöller expressed appreciation for Eman’s dedication, knowledge, and experience, noting the committee's impression of his commitment to strengthening ties within the Kingdom. Eman’s visit to the Netherlands also included discussions regarding the cost of living, purchasing power, and government wage plans.
