Aruba Tourism Authority releases June 2026 cruise visitor statistics

The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) presented results of its 2025 cruise tourism survey, which gathered 2,414 responses. Eighty‑one percent of respondents said Aruba’s inclusion on cruise itineraries influenced their decision, up from 78 % in 2024, and all 14 measured attributes – notably beach quality, safety and local hospitality – showed improvement. Visitors spent an average of US$197 per cruise stop, mainly on excursions, local crafts and food‑and‑beverage.

For June 2026, Aruba recorded 143,343 stayover visitors and 912,256 visitor nights, with an average length of stay of 6.4 nights. North America remained the dominant market at 73.6 % of arrivals, led by the United States with 102,224 visitors. South America contributed 20.3 % (Argentina 11,682 visitors) and Europe 3.5 % (the Netherlands 2,755 visitors). Visitor demographics were fairly balanced across generations, with Gen X 26.8 %, Millennials 25.4 %, Gen Z 20.8 % and Baby Boomers 18.8 %.
