Arvind Kejriwal accuses Modi government of forcing E-20 petrol

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal said the Narendra Modi‑led government is using "hooliganism" to compel the rollout of E‑20 ethanol‑blended petrol, warning that the move could turn roughly 30 crore (about 300 million) vehicles manufactured before 2023 into scrap.

Kejriwal alleged that automobile manufacturers have been threatened with plant shutdowns or Enforcement Directorate raids if they raise objections, and he questioned the fuel’s benefits for foreign exchange earnings and groundwater. He also criticised the government's handling of infrastructure and reaffirmed support for the right to protest.
