AS Roma secures 4-2 victory over Cagliari to maintain third in Serie A

AS Roma defeated Cagliari 4-2 at the Stadio Olimpico, driven by late goals from Rodrigo Mora and Donyell Malen. Despite an early penalty by Cagliari's M'Bala Nzola, Roma responded quickly with goals from Emanuele Lulli and Niccolò Pisilli to take a 2-1 lead into halftime.

Cagliari leveled the score at 2-2 via Daniel Maldini in the 63rd minute, but Roma regained control in the final minutes. Rodrigo Mora scored a header in the 85th minute, followed by a fourth goal from Malen in the 87th minute to seal the win. The victory keeps Gian Piero Gasperini's side unbeaten in Serie A and in third place, four points behind leaders Lazio.

Rodrigo Mora, the club's most expensive signing at 50 million euros, emerged as a key figure following his decisive performance. The win also extends Roma's unbeaten home run in Serie A to 17 matches. Looking ahead, Roma faces challenges with injuries to Paulo Dybala, who is ruled out for the upcoming Champions League match against Manchester United.
