AS Roma Secures €10‑15 million Insurance Payout and Player Sale Income
AS Roma is strengthening its financial position ahead of the UEFA settlement deadline. Recent player transfers have generated more than €20 million, including the €9.5 million redemption of Tommaso Baldanzi by Genoa, €3.5 million for Saud Abdulhadi, €4.5 million for Buba Sangaré, and a €2.8 million compulsory buy‑back of Eldor Shomurodov.
The club is also pursuing a large insurance claim linked to midfielder Edoardo Bove, estimated between €10 million and €15 million, after his contract was terminated by mutual agreement. An additional €6.5 million from the Riccardo Calafiori case is expected. Combined, these inflows bring the club close to the €50 million target required by the UEFA settlement agreement, with the aim of finalising the accounts by 30 June.
