AS Roma ramps up transfer activity with several targets identified

Sporting director Tony D'Amico has outlined AS Roma’s priorities as the summer transfer window enters its decisive phase. The club is focusing on bolstering the attack, with English striker Keinan Davis (Udinese) cited as a prime target. A fee of around €10 million is being discussed, and Roma will face competition from Napoli, Atalanta and Juventus.

In midfield, Roma are close to securing Swiss international Remo Freuler, who could join without a transfer fee after his Bologna contract ends. Coach Gian Piero Gasperini is also reportedly considering a reunion with Freuler, whom he knows from their time at Atalanta. Additional interest includes midfielders Greenwood and a winger, as well as possible sales of players such as Dovbyk and others to balance the budget.

Negotiations are ongoing, with the club aiming to finalise deals before the June 30 deadline, while also monitoring offers for other positions. The planned sign‑ins are intended to give Gasperini more tactical flexibility and strengthen Roma’s squad for the upcoming Serie A season.
