Asante Kotoko bolsters squad with new signings

Asante Kotoko is strengthening its squad for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season through several key signings. The club has secured the return of goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad, who joins from Ethiopian side Coffee SC after a two-year spell. Danlad, a former 2022 FIFA World Cup participant with Ghana, aims to bring his international experience back to Kumasi.

In addition to Danlad, the club has signed Moroccan goalkeeper Abdelwadie Mourad from Albanian club Basania FC, making him the first Moroccan player to represent the team. The attacking line has also been bolstered by the permanent signing of Cameroonian attacker Solomon Nsoh Asaah from AS Fortuna de Mfou. Asaah, who previously won the Francophonie Games with the Cameroon U20 side, brings pace and versatility to the Porcupine Warriors' frontline.
