Ascari gym in Casinalbo inaugurated after renovation
The Ascari gym in Casinalbo has been officially inaugurated following a comprehensive renovation. The project, which aimed to improve safety, energy efficiency, comfort, and modernity, cost a total of 1.73 million euros.
Formigine Mayor Elisa Parenti noted that the project was made possible through a contribution of approximately 500,000 euros from the Emilia-Romagna Region. The renovation of the Ascari gym marks the completion of a multi-year strategy to modernize four municipal sports facilities, including the Don Milani, Fiori, and Ferraguti gyms.
The management of the facility has been entrusted to local sports clubs, including PGS Fides, PGS Smile, Associazione Magreta, and Audax Casinalbo, to maintain strong ties with the local community.
