Ascensión officials commemorate International Rural Women's Day

In Ascensión, Chihuahua, municipal president Ivonne de la Hoya Venzor participated in agricultural harvesting activities at Rancho Rarámuri to mark International Rural Women's Day. The event, organized by the Municipal Women's Institute, focused on recognizing the rights and contributions of female farmworkers.

During the commemoration, local officials distributed state-provided food supplies, blankets donated by the private sector, and direct support to female heads of households. Additionally, medical personnel from the Ascensión Health Center established a vaccination station to provide influenza shots to rural workers and their families in preparation for the winter season.
