Ascoli Calcio acquires Picchio Village sports center
Ascoli Calcio and several local families—Passeri, Turla, Ubaldi, and Galli—have officially acquired the Picchio Village sports center. The announcement was made during a press conference at the Del Duca Stadium.
Under the new arrangement, the group has purchased the real estate assets, which include seven hectares of land. Ascoli Calcio will exit its previous minority stake in the former owning company to instead hold approximately a 20% share in the new entity alongside the partner families.
Ascoli Calcio President Bernardino Passeri described the acquisition as a milestone for the club, emphasizing the importance of investing in youth academies and foundational training to support the club and Italian football. The partners also intend to collaborate with local administration on future stadium redevelopment projects.
