ASELSAN demonstrates anti-drone and air defense systems

ASELSAN has conducted field demonstrations of its latest electronic warfare and air defense systems designed to counter mini/micro UAVs and next-generation FPV drones. The tests took place at the Gölbek Shooting and Test Center.

Two primary systems were showcased: the KANGAL FPV 100, which focuses on the detection, diagnosis, and jamming of wireless and FPV drones, and the EJDERHA AD 210, a high-power electromagnetic (HPEM) anti-UAV countermeasure system. The EJDERHA system utilizes radar for active detection and electro-optical sensors for tracking, capable of neutralizing threats by disrupting their electronic circuits.

Additionally, ASELSAN demonstrated the KORKUT 35 air defense system. This system features dual 35 mm cannons with a high rate of fire and uses programmable ammunition to engage small drones and moving ground targets. The KORKUT 35 was tested in front of international military delegations, highlighting its mobility and effectiveness against a range of aerial threats including cruise missiles and helicopters.
