ASELSAN secures major defense contracts worth hundreds of millions

ASELSAN has secured several major defense contracts totaling billions of euros and hundreds of millions of dollars. The company signed a 195 million USD agreement with the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) for the procurement of radar systems. Additionally, ASELSAN announced a 125 million USD export contract with an undisclosed overseas end-user for the sale of weapon and electronic warfare systems.

Over a 15-day period, ASELSAN’s total new business relationships reached approximately 5.19 billion euros and 352.9 million USD. These include a 1.23 billion euro contract with ROKETSAN for air defense system components and various agreements with the SSB regarding long-range air defense projects. The company noted that these contracts are expected to have a positive impact on its revenue.

Separately, on Borsa Istanbul, 41 companies conducted share buyback programs on October 7 to support healthy price formation and maintain investor confidence. Notable participants included GSD Holding, Tukaş Gıda, and various real estate investment trusts (GYO).
