ASEP announces increased public sector hiring and Fire Service recruitment

The Greek Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP) has announced significant updates regarding public sector recruitment. A new large-scale call for applications specifically targeting high school graduates has seen its planned permanent positions increased from an initial 2,500 to 4,000. These roles, which also include indefinite-term private law contracts, will cover various specialties including administration, technical trades, healthcare, and information technology. The selection process will utilize a priority-based scoring system.

Separately, the application period has commenced for recruitment within the Fire Service. This specific call aims to hire 26 personnel, including 5 pilot helmsmen officers, 5 marine engineer officers, and 16 lower-ranking marine engineer staff. Candidates must be Greek citizens under the age of 35 and meet specific health, physical, and legal requirements, including passing medical and psychotechnical examinations.
