Asia-Pacific region to become global economic center by 2030

Anton Kobyakov, an advisor to the Russian President, stated that the Asia-Pacific region has become the world's economic center and is projected to lead the global economy by 2030, while Europe moves toward the periphery.

Kobyakov outlined three levels of international cooperation to navigate this shift. The first involves implementing Vladimir Putin’s Great Eurasian Partnership, which aims to align Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) projects with China’s Belt and Road Initiative. The second level focuses on bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the macro-region. The third level involves interregional interaction, specifically the connections between neighboring regions and individual countries, a model Kobyakov noted is particularly relevant for China's highly ranked regional economies.
