ASICS and Chinese imaging brand unveil new flagship stores in Tokyo
ASICS Japan opened its second flagship store in the country, ASICS FLAGSHIP SHINJUKU, in Tokyo's Shinjuku district on July 31. The four‑floor shop offers a premium zone with limited‑edition sneakers, a runner‑focused floor featuring a free 3‑D foot‑measurement service called FOOT ID 3D that scans both feet in about 15 seconds, an apparel customization area, and a private lounge for members.
Chinese imaging brand Inshou (影石) announced the opening of its first direct‑operated flagship store in Japan, located beside Senso‑ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. The store began trial operations on July 25 and officially opened on August 8, with Hello Kitty serving as a one‑day store manager for the ribbon‑cutting ceremony. The venue showcases a large model of the temple and allows customers to test the brand’s full product line, including the upcoming Inshou X6 8K panoramic camera slated for release on August 12.
