Tokyo opens three new flagship retail concepts: ASICS, KDDI POP Culture, and atmos pink
ASICS Japan will open its second domestic flagship store, ASICS FLAGSHIP SHINJUKU, in Shinjuku on 31 July. The 605 m², four‑floor shop will sell running, tennis, basketball and golf gear and will offer a custom‑embroidery service and a private lounge for OneASICS members.
KDDI inaugurated POP Culture Style IKEBUKURO on the second floor of its au Style IKEBUKURO flagship in Ikebukuro on 3 July. The venue blends AI‑driven digital experiences with pop‑culture merchandise, featuring pop‑up shops for the “Love Live!” series and other anime, virtual‑human greeters, and plans to trial NFT‑based rewards.
Foot Locker atmos Japan relaunched its women‑focused sneaker boutique, atmos pink flagship Harajuku, on 4 July in a new building on Meiji‑Dori. Targeting 16‑ to 29‑year‑old women, the store showcases pink‑themed street style, a “Socks Bar” for full‑foot styling, and a community lounge.
