Asl Latina completes €72.5 million PNRR health projects

The Azienda Sanitaria Locale (ASL) of Latina has officially finished all interventions under Mission 6 “Health” of Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), investing a total of €72.5 million. The work was completed without any request for project revisions and met the strict deadlines set by the plan.

The completion includes fifteen new Community Health Centers in towns such as Aprilia, Borgo Sabotino, Cisterna di Latina, Formia, Gaeta, Latina Centro, Latina Scalo, Minturno, Pontinia, Sabaudia, San Felice Circeo, Santi Cosma e Damiano, Sezze, Sperlonga and Terracina, as well as four new Community Hospitals ready to enhance intermediate care in Cori, Sezze, Gaeta and Sabaudia. Six Territorial Operational Centres are already operational, the digitalisation of hospital nodes is finished, and seismic‑retrofit work on the Santa Maria Goretti Hospital is underway with an additional €4.6 million funding.

Director General Sabrina Cenciarelli said, “Goal respected without any request for remodelling and respecting the rigid deadlines,” highlighting the teamwork and continuous effort that made the achievement possible.
