ASM International posts record Q2 2026 revenue and lifts 2027 outlook
ASM International (Euronext: ASM) reported second‑quarter 2026 revenue of €1.003 billion, beating analyst consensus of roughly €978 million. The company posted a gross margin of 51.9%, an adjusted operating margin of about 33%, net income of €285.4 million and a record free‑cash‑flow generation of €355 million.
CEO Hichem M’Saad said the results were driven by continued strong demand for AI‑related semiconductor equipment, including growth in leading‑edge logic/foundry, HBM DRAM and mature logic sales in China. The firm now projects third‑quarter 2026 revenue of €1.1 billion (±5%), above the analyst median estimate of €994.5 million, and expects second‑half revenue to rise by more than 20% versus the first half.
ASM also raised its 2027 revenue outlook, saying it will exceed the previous top end of the €3.7‑4.6 billion range, reflecting higher wafer‑fab equipment spending and robust order growth across multiple segments.
