ASP Trapani strengthens pediatric care through new agreement

The Provincial Health Authority (ASP) of Trapani has signed an agreement with freelance pediatricians to strengthen local pediatric assistance. Under the agreement, pediatricians will be available at Pediatric First Intervention Points (PPIP) every weekday from 8:00 to 20:00, as well as on weekends.

Participation by pediatricians is voluntary and will be managed through a call for availability. Those participating will have access to hospital-level support, including laboratory services and diagnostic instrumentation. Additionally, the agreement provides consultancy services for the emergency rooms at the hospitals in Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, ensuring children arriving at these facilities can be evaluated by a pediatrician during PPIP operating hours.
