ASSA targets June 2027 for full water and sewage service takeover

ASSA plans to take full control of water and sewage services in the city by June 2027, according to Darío Boscarol, vice president of Aguas Santafesinas. The transition depends on several administrative and political steps, starting with the local City Council approving the incorporation by a two-thirds majority.

Following legislative approval, a formal agreement between the province, the municipality, and ASSA is expected to be signed by the end of this year. Once signed, a six-month transition period involving technical and legal surveys will begin. By the target date in mid-2027, ASSA aims to have commercial offices established and to be fully responsible for billing and service provision.
