Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced deleted scene discovered
A deleted cutscene has been discovered within the game files of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The sequence, which lasts just over a minute, was originally intended to play after the credits but was ultimately removed from the final release.
Recovered by YouTube user Sliderv2, the footage depicts Edward Kenway in a London tavern approximately five years after the events of the Caribbean adventure. The scene suggests that Kenway had abandoned piracy to fully commit to the Assassin Brotherhood and had returned to England with his daughter, Jennifer. The footage also features a meeting with Adéwalé, providing a narrative link between the titles Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry and Assassin’s Creed Rogue.
While the recovered animation and lighting appear unfinished, indicating an early development stage, the scene provides significant lore context. It places the timeline around 1727, following the death of King George I, and introduces connections to other entries in the franchise, such as the character Miko.
