Assisi Pax Mundi celebrates Saint Francis with music and floral art

The Assisi Pax Mundi event is taking place in Assisi, featuring a variety of cultural and spiritual tributes to Saint Francis of Assisi. The 13th edition of this international sacred music festival, organized by the Franciscan Family of Assisi, includes concerts and celebrations scheduled from October 15 to 18.

As part of the festivities, the Infiorata Association of Montefiore dell'Aso will create an ephemeral art piece made of flowers, natural essences, and recycled materials. This work will be displayed in front of the Upper Church of the Basilica of Saint Francis.

The musical program includes performances by various choirs and ensembles, such as the Francesco d'Assisi Polyphonic Choir and the Laudate et Benedicite Choir, with events held at the Basilica of Saint Francis, the Cathedral of San Rufino, and the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
