Assisi to host major wellness and yoga festivals in 2026

The city of Assisi will host two major wellness and spiritual events in 2026, coinciding with the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis.

“Assisi 4 Life” is scheduled for September 19–21, 2026. Organized by the Municipality of Assisi with support from the Umbria Region, the event focuses on the harmony between humanity and creation. The program includes a sports village in Piazza Santa Chiara, free health check-ups, and scientific conferences such as “Cardiogrocco,” which focuses on cardiovascular prevention through sport.

The sixth edition of the “YogAssisi Festival” will take place from October 16–18, 2026, at Palazzo Monte Frumentario. Centered on the theme “Continue to dream,” the festival will explore consciousness, meditation, and yoga. Activities will include workshops, masterclasses, and laboratories for families, examining the role of dreams and sleep in spiritual and philosophical traditions.
