Astana hosts panel on Turkic world integration and cooperation
The “Turkic World Dialogues: Common Future, Common Vision” panel was held in Astana, Kazakhstan, organized by the Turkish Presidency's Directorate of Communications. The event brought together diplomats, academics, and representatives from the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to discuss the integration process of the Turkic world.
Key topics included the development of a common alphabet, combating disinformation, and enhancing cooperation in economic, scientific, and technological sectors. Participants also evaluated the potential of the Middle Corridor, joint investments, and human mobility.
In a video message, Burhanettin Duran, the Turkish Presidency's Director of Communications, highlighted that the upcoming 13th Summit of Heads of State and Government in Ankara would serve as a milestone for regional cooperation. He noted that Turkey would assume the chairmanship of the OTS during this period, aiming to strengthen the organization's institutional unity and global visibility.
