Asti, Italy sees new beverage launches and pizza‑wine mixology projects

From 24 June to 5 July, the Rava & Fava stores in Asti are promoting Altromercato cold‑infusion teas with a 15 % discount. The launch features three recipes – pineapple with spices, coconut with yerba mate, and rooibos with maracuja – marketed as natural, sugar‑free alternatives for summer hydration.

In parallel, the Consorzio Asti Docg and the Fuoritempo pizzeria in Canale introduced the “Remix It!” project, an easy‑mixology concept that pairs Asti Docg sparkling wine with pizza. The inaugural event took place on 7 July at the medieval castle of Castell’Alfero, showcasing four pizza‑and‑drink pairings. The initiative will run from July through September, targeting younger consumers who prefer informal, lower‑alcohol drinks alongside pizza.
