Aston Martin unveils Valen, a limited-edition V12 supercar
Aston Martin has unveiled the Valen, a limited-production supercar revealed during Monterey Car Week. Developed by the company’s Special Vehicle Operations and Q by Aston Martin divisions, the Valen is described as the most powerful front-engined production vehicle in the brand's 113-year history.
The vehicle features a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine producing 850 PS (approximately 838 horsepower) and 1,000 Nm of torque. It utilizes an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission with software derived from the Vantage GT4 racing program. Performance specifications include an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 344 km/h.
To improve handling and power-to-weight ratios, the Valen is up to 110 kg lighter than the standard Vanquish platform, achieved through the extensive use of carbon fiber, aluminum, titanium, and magnesium. Standard equipment includes magnesium wheels and a bespoke titanium exhaust system. Production is strictly limited to 150 units, with deliveries expected to begin in the second quarter of 2027.
