Aston Martin luxury and high-performance model developments

Overview

Aston Martin has introduced several exclusive vehicle collections to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Through its Q by Aston Martin division, the company unveiled the VMF collection, which includes three unique DB12 S models inspired by the 1951 Le Mans DB2 racing team. Additionally, a limited five-car Heritage Edition was announced for the US market, featuring 2027 models with iconic colors from the 1960s and 1970s. Expanding on its high-end market strategy, the brand’s Special Vehicle Operations division is developing further high-performance, limited-edition models. Testing has been observed for a 2028 Aston Martin Vantage RS near the Nürburgring, featuring aerodynamic updates. At Monterey Car Week, the company officially debuted the Valen, a highly exclusive, limited-edition supercar based on the Vanquish architecture. Developed by the Q bespoke division and Special Vehicle Operations, the Valen features a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine producing 850 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque. Utilizing lightweight materials like carbon fiber, magnesium, and titanium, the Valen reduces weight by approximately 110 kg compared to the standard Vanquish. Described as the “most powerful front-engined production vehicle in the brand's 113-year history,” the Valen utilizes an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission with software derived from the Vantage GT4 racing program. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 344 km/h. The vehicle offers three distinct driving modes—Sport, Sport+, and Track—to adjust throttle response and vehicle dynamics. Production is limited to 150 units, with deliveries expected to begin in the second quarter of 2027. Furthering the brand's V12 performance reach, luxury tuner Brabus has unveiled the Bodo Cabriolet, an open-top hyper-GT based on the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante.
