Aston Martin unveils Valen, a limited-run 850PS V12 supercar

Aston Martin has unveiled the Valen, a new limited-production V12 supercar developed by its Q by Aston Martin bespoke division and the Special Vehicle Operations department. The vehicle features an uprated 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing 850PS and 1,000Nm of torque. Designed with extensive carbon-fibre construction, the Valen is expected to weigh up to 110kg less than existing core V12 models.

Production is limited to 150 units, with the first deliveries scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027. The car is capable of a 0-60mph acceleration in 3.0 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 214mph.

The debut comes as the automaker reports mixed financial results. While revenue increased by 62% driven by high-end special models, the company's traditional automotive business saw net losses grow to £90.1 million in the second quarter, and net debt rose 12% to £1.54 billion.
