Aston Villa eyes AC Milan left‑back Pervis Estupiñán

AC Milan have indicated that Ecuadorian left‑back Pervis Estupiñán, 28, is available for the upcoming summer window after a season in which he lost his starting place. The club, which paid around €20 million for the player last year, is reportedly willing to listen to offers but expects more than €15 million, rejecting an alleged €9 million bid from Premier League side Aston Villa.

Aston Villa have made an informal enquiry about Estupiñán’s situation, with club officials seeking details on his contract and a potential fee. No formal written offer has been submitted yet, and negotiations remain at a preliminary stage. The interest comes amid other reported suitors, including Spain’s Deportivo La Coruña and speculation that Milan could free a slot for Moroccan defender Noussair Mazraoui if Estupiñán departs.

Estupiñán joined Milan from Brighton for just under €20 million, but this season he featured mainly as a substitute, playing 22 matches across competitions with one goal and one assist. The player has expressed a preference for a return to the Premier League, adding to Villa’s motivation to secure his services.
