Astra Honda Motor hosts AHM Best Student 2026 innovation competition

The AHM Best Student 2026 competition brought together 1,215 high school students from across Indonesia to present innovative solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under the theme ‘Gen Z Berkarya, Indonesia Berdaya’, the program encouraged youth creativity to address societal challenges through sustainable practices.

Following rigorous regional selections, 27 finalists competed at the national level. The presentations were evaluated by a jury including representatives from the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas), the Directorate of Senior High Schools under the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, and the PPM School of Management.

Yazid Alfata from SMA Fatih Bilingual School in Aceh secured the Gold award for his project, LeraWash. His innovation features a natural biodetergent made from soapberry (lerak) and waru leaves, packaged in biodegradable seaweed-based bioplastic pods.
