Astra Motor Sulawesi Selatan holds safety and independence celebrations

Astra Motor Sulawesi Selatan (Asmo Sulsel) conducted several community and safety initiatives in South Sulawesi. To celebrate Indonesia's 81st Independence Day, the company organized the ‘Convoy Merdeka’ event in Makassar. The convoy included hundreds of Honda motorcycle enthusiasts, including 50 father-and-son pairs riding Honda PCX160 models, and members from 17 local motorcycle communities. The route traversed several landmarks, including Fort Rotterdam, Mandala Monument, and Losari Beach.

In addition to the celebration, Asmo Sulsel emphasized road safety through its ‘#Cari_Aman’ campaign. The company provided safety riding education to participants during the convoy and held a separate educational session for 40 parents and guardians at SMKN 3 Gowa. The goal of these programs is to foster a culture of safe riding by encouraging responsible behavior, proper equipment use, and setting positive examples for children within the family unit.
