Astral Resources reports high-grade gold at Mandilla Project

Astral Resources NL has reported strong assay results from ongoing drilling at its Mandilla Gold Project, located approximately 70 kilometres south of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The latest drilling targeted the Theia Stage 1 open pit using 41 reverse circulation in-fill holes totaling 4,456 metres.

The results validated geological and Mineral Resource models for Theia with a weighted average grade of 1.54 grams per tonne gold. High-grade intercepts were identified, including 7 metres at 10.4 grams per tonne gold and an exceptional intercept of 1 metre at 219 grams per tonne gold from the Theia Deeps program.

Managing Director Marc Ducler stated that the results reinforce the high-grade nature of the altered zones and the potential economic value of the early mining inventory. The company is continuing its in-fill drilling and diamond drilling programs to de-risk the development of the project.
