Minister Salvini inspects A4‑Valtrompia motorway link in Brescia

On the morning of 20 July, Italy’s Vice‑President and Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini visited the construction site for the new A4‑Valtrompia motorway connection in the province of Brescia. He was received at the Codolazza base by regional officials, including Infrastructure Assessor Claudia Maria Terzi and Anas representatives. The project, part of the strategic works under Law 443/2001, aims to link the A4 highway with the valley towns of Sarezzo, Villa Carcina and Concesio. Anas officials reported that work is proceeding at full speed on all fronts, with completed diversions on SP19, 333 of 394 tunnel diaphragms installed, and the Mella bridge tested. Anas chief Claudio Andrea Gemme said, “I am particularly satisfied with the progress of the new infrastructure,” highlighting the cooperation between contractors, institutions and the community.
