Astronaut Sophie Adenot to join live ISS video call with European science centres on July 22
French ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot, currently aboard the International Space Station as part of the SpaceX Crew‑12 (εpsilon) mission, will take part in a live video link with the public on 22 July 2026. The event is hosted at the Cité de l'Espace in Toulouse, France, and will be simultaneously broadcast to the Heureka Science Centre in Vantaa, Finland, as well as to venues in Helsinki, Bremen (Germany) and Lisbon (Portugal).
Organised by the European Space Agency together with the European Collaborative for Science, Industry and Technology Exhibitions (ECSITE) and the ESERO education programme, the session will allow children and visitors to ask questions directly to Adenot. It marks the 20‑year anniversary of ESA’s ESERO programme, which supports STEM education across Europe. The live call is part of broader space‑themed activities at each site, and an interactive exhibition on Adenot’s mission will be open to visitors at the Toulouse venue.
