Astronomy tourism routes debut in Cuenca and Seville

A new ecotourism and astronomy route will take place on 22 June in Las Grajas, near Cuenca. Participants will first identify local botanical species and learn about their medicinal uses, then continue after sunset with night‑sky observation of constellations and celestial bodies. The event is open to the public and organized by local promoters.

On 12 August, the municipality of El Pedroso in Seville will host "Eclipsia Sevilla", a family‑friendly experience at the Huéznar reservoir. Visitors can safely watch a partial solar eclipse using filtered telescopes, receive guided explanations, and later observe the Perseids meteor shower. The programme includes a picnic, optional transport and ticket prices ranging from €18 to €25, with advance reservations required.
