Political movements intensify in Argentina and Paraguay ahead of elections

In Argentina, the Frente Renovador is intensifying its territorial organization in preparation for the 2027 elections. Led by Sergio Massa, the party held strategic meetings in La Rioja with representatives from six provinces and in the Fourth Electoral Section of Buenos Aires. These efforts aim to strengthen the party's structure and build political volume to act as an alternative to the current national government.

While various sectors of Peronism, including those led by Axel Kicillof and Máximo Kirchner, maintain dialogue, they are simultaneously strengthening their own individual political spaces. The current strategy involves using primary elections as a mechanism to manage potential internal competition.

In Paraguay, Camilo Pérez, a candidate for mayor of Asunción representing the Colorado Party, is also ramping up his campaign. Pérez has held meetings with youth groups and local party leadership to consolidate his presence in the capital ahead of the upcoming municipal elections.
