Deputy Raúl Latorre called on party factions to maintain cohesion ahead of the 4 October municipal elections.

The race now pits the ANR’s unified front against the 16‑party opposition alliance, with both sides highlighting the need for fiscal reform and improved city services as they vie for control of Asunción’s municipal government.
