Asunción municipal elections: Deputy Vallejo criticizes current management

Deputy Rocío Vallejo of the Patria Querida (PPQ) party has criticized the current management of the Asunción Municipality ahead of the municipal elections scheduled for October 4. During an interview, Vallejo argued that voters must choose between the existing administrative model and the proposal led by Soledad Núñez.

Vallejo characterized the current administration as being marked by infrastructure issues, lack of cleanliness, and the use of parallel collection mechanisms. She advocated for Núñez, a civil engineer, highlighting her technical profile as a necessary contrast to what she described as the “improvisation” of current officials who lack specialized training.
