ASUS and Lenovo unveil new high-end gaming handhelds and tablets
ASUS has announced the ROG XBOX Ally X20, a special edition handheld console celebrating 20 years of the Republic of Gamers brand. The device features a 7.4-inch ROG Nebula HDR OLED display with 1400 nits peak brightness and a variable refresh rate of 30 Hz to 120 Hz. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor and includes magnetic TMR joysticks. The console is scheduled for release on October 15, with a reference price of USD 1,299. A special bundle priced at USD 2,499 is also available, which includes ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 augmented reality glasses, a Killswitch branded sleeve, and a 68W charger.
Lenovo has introduced the Legion Y700 Infinite, an upgraded gaming tablet featuring an 8.4-inch 2.5K OLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. The tablet is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and an Adreno 840 GPU. Hardware specifications include up to 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage, expandable via microSD. The device includes a 7450 mAh battery with 68W fast charging and runs on Android 16.
