Lenovo 2026 tablet, laptop, and handheld launches

Overview

In July 2026, Lenovo announced several hardware releases. On July 13, the company unveiled the Legion Y700 Ultimate tablet, a 5G-enabled 8.8-inch device with dual-SIM support, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, up to 24 GB LPDDR5 RAM, and a 165 Hz PureSight panel. Alongside it, Lenovo introduced the Legion R9000X laptop, priced at 20,999 yuan, featuring an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 12-core processor and a 15.3-inch OLED display. On July 23, Lenovo expanded its tablet portfolio with the premium Yoga Tab Plus, featuring a 12.7-inch 3K screen and on-device AI tools, and the productivity-focused Idea Tab series. On August 25, Lenovo expanded its gaming lineup in China with the launch of the Legion Y700 Infinite gaming tablet and the Legion C700 handheld console. The Y700 Infinite features an 8.4-inch OLED panel with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition chipset, it includes 5G connectivity, up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. The tablet is equipped with a 7,470 mAh battery, 68W fast charging, and a specialized heat dissipation system covering 15,000 mm². The Legion C700 is an Android 16-based handheld console designed for cloud gaming and PC streaming. It utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and features a 7.82-inch 120Hz LCD screen and an 8,000mAh battery. A notable feature is the proprietary ‘Legion Stream protocol’, which uses a dedicated USB dongle to allow users to stream games from a nearby PC without an active internet connection. The device also includes TMR magnetic joysticks and Hall-effect triggers. By late August, further details emerged regarding the Legion Y700 Infinite, confirming it features Dolby Vision support and an Adreno 840 GPU.
