ASUS announces ROG Rapture GT-BN98 gaming router

ASUS Republic of Gamers has unveiled the ROG Rapture GT-BN98, a high-end gaming router featuring WiFi 8 technology. The device is designed to provide stable connectivity for environments with numerous simultaneous connections, including gaming consoles, PCs, streaming platforms, and smart home devices.

The router offers bandwidth speeds of up to 25,000 Mbps and includes 10 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps RJ45 ports to maximize fiber optic speeds. To manage network traffic, it utilizes adaptive QoE technology, which dynamically distributes bandwidth based on real-time network conditions and application needs, prioritizing gaming and streaming over background tasks.

Additional features include WiFi Insight for wireless interference analysis and technologies such as MCS, UEQM, and NPCA to improve performance and coverage. The device is scheduled to arrive in Spain in early November, with an exclusive availability at PcComponentes at a starting price of 929 euros.
