ASUS launches Ascent QN10 AI mini PC
ASUS has launched the Ascent QN10, which it claims is the world’s first AI mini PC. The device is designed to exceed Copilot+ PC standards, targeting content creators, developers, and corporate sectors that require low-latency on-device AI processing and high power efficiency.
The hardware is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite platform, featuring an 18-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU. A key feature is the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, which delivers up to 80 TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second) of computing power. This allows for autonomous AI tasks such as real-time language translation, AI-based visual content creation, and video quality enhancement without relying on an internet connection.
In terms of design, the Ascent QN10 is highly compact, with a chassis volume of less than 0.7 liters. This makes it approximately 86 percent smaller than a conventional 5-liter desktop PC. The device weighs 0.75 kg and features a silver chassis with dimensions of 130 x 130 x 39.96 mm. It also includes a Qualcomm Adreno X2-90 GPU, which is reported to be 2.3 times faster than the previous generation.
