ASUS and Lenovo expand AI hardware and infrastructure

Overview

ASUS and Lenovo have expanded their hardware offerings to support agentic AI and local large language model (LLM) processing. Initially, ASUS focused on software and service integration by launching Zenni Claw, a free beta agentic AI assistant, and a Google AI subscription bundle for select laptops. Zenni Claw is designed to automate workflows for work, travel, and daily organization, operating either locally on high-end hardware—such as devices with an RTX 5090 GPU—or via the cloud. To complement this, ASUS is offering a three-month Google AI subscription bundle for select laptop models released between 2025 and 2027, providing access to Google Gemini through the MyASUS app.

At IFA 2026, ASUS unveiled a new lineup of AI-focused ProArt computers, including the P14 and P16 laptops and the GR1X Mini PC. The ProArt P16 is noted as one of the thinnest 16-inch laptops in its class at 12.9 mm. These devices utilize the NVIDIA RTX Spark platform, an ARM-based architecture integrating an NVIDIA Grace CPU with Blackwell RTX graphics via NVLink-C2C technology. High-end configurations provide up to 128GB of unified memory and 1 Petaflop of performance, enabling the local execution of LLMs with up to 120 billion parameters. Lenovo also debuted RTX Spark-powered Yoga Pro 9n, Yoga 9n 2-in-1 laptops, and the ThinkCentre X Ultra desktop.

Expanding into infrastructure, ASUS announced its integrated AI-Factory platform, featuring the AI POD XA VR721-E3 which utilizes NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 architecture. ASUS also launched the Ascent QN10, an ultra-compact mini PC powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. Featuring an 18-core Oryon CPU and a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU delivering 80 TOPS, ASUS claims the Ascent QN10 is the ‘world’s first AI mini PC,’ designed to exceed Copilot+ PC standards.
