NVIDIA RTX Spark platform powers new AI PCs from ASUS, Lenovo, and Acer
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, NVIDIA, ASUS, Lenovo, and Acer announced a new wave of hardware powered by the RTX Spark platform, designed to enable high-performance local AI processing on personal computers. The RTX Spark N1X chip integrates NVIDIA Grace CPUs with Blackwell RTX GPUs, offering up to 128GB of unified memory to support large language models (LLMs) of up to 120 billion parameters locally.
ASUS introduced its ProArt series, including the P16 and P14 laptops and the GR1X mini PC, specifically built for AI-driven creative workflows and personal agents. Lenovo showcased its Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 laptops, which also utilize the RTX Spark platform to handle intensive 3D rendering and AI development without relying on the cloud. Acer is also slated to release RTX Spark-equipped systems in October 2026.
This shift toward on-device AI aims to improve data privacy, reduce latency, and lower the costs associated with cloud computing. The first wave of Windows PCs featuring these chips is expected to hit the market in October 2026.
